Proposed a redesign of the non-fiction book “Diary of a Young Naturalist” by Dara McAnulty for the Penguin Student Design Award 2022.

With detail into McAnulty’s intense connection to the natural world, with chapters split by seasons, the design embodies his documentative style of writing - embodying the blackbird, a focal point of the novel, representing the change of seasons through its gliding, leaving the multicoloured leaves from various times of the year behind them.
