A university live group project that required the establishment of branding for ‘In the City’, a festival for all ages, dedicated to promoting unity and celebrating the diverse cultures and contributions of refugees and migrants in the city of Coventry.

Implemented a distinctive, colourful secondary palette with Coventry’s historic blue to represent how the city is home to people from all backgrounds and cultures. The friendly tone of voice combined with playful and bold illustrations express the exciting atmosphere prevalent during the celebrations.

The illustrations of the food are friendly and colourful to communicate its freshness and good taste, as well as the positive experiences coming out of bonding with others over their cultures. Playful illustrations allow In the City to tell unforgettable stories like never before.
